What to specify when ordering custom eyeglass cleaning cloths
A practical brief for microfiber lens cloths, from dimensions and fabric requirements to logo placement.
An eyeglass cleaning cloth is a small component of an eyewear collection, but it still needs a clear specification. The purchasing brief should cover the surface it will clean as well as the way it presents your brand.
Record the intended application
Identify the eyewear or lens range the cloth will accompany. Ask the supplier to confirm whether the proposed cloth, printing and care instructions match your requirements. Avoid a blanket assumption that every microfiber cloth is appropriate for every coating.
Specify dimensions and presentation
Confirm the open size and how the cloth should be folded. Check that it fits the intended case or paper package without covering important printed information.
Ask for material details
Request the proposed fiber composition, fabric weight, texture and edge finish. These are specification fields to agree with the supplier, not values to infer from a photograph. Keep an approved sample as the reference for subsequent orders.
Review the logo on the cloth
Share the artwork, print dimensions and color reference. Decide which side is branded and how the logo should appear when the cloth is folded. Ask to review the proposed production method before signing off the artwork.
Plan your packaging
Confirm whether you need a paper box or another agreed individual presentation. Include required care copy in the artwork approval process instead of adding it after production begins.
Build a repeatable order record
Retain the approved specification, artwork version, packaging layout and order terms together. When reordering, identify any changes explicitly. Qula Craft Factory supports custom sizes, logo branding and paper packaging from a starting MOQ of 1,000 pieces.
